Thanks for the update.

I originally only posted the USHL stats but have now updated the USNDPT stats for Butcher, Ausmus & Fiegl.

DG, have you heard about any other prospects that might be considering DU?

Can't see DU having too much scholarship wiggle-room in the next two years. Anyone they are looking at right now are probably 2015 enrolees.

DU's 2013 Class appears to overflowing as only four scholarship players graduate. Early departures may affect that total.

The obvious names floating out there are younger brothers Baker Shore aka "The Bake Show" [12-13 y.o.], Alex Carle [HS Junior, team Captain, Kimball Union HS] & Brian Hawkinson [around 13 y.o.].

DU's recruiting formula has been offering Colorado based kids scholarships early, then filling the holes with high-end recruits within a year of enrollment. Finally they usually go after late blooming, older Junior A players as recruited walk-ons or partial scholies.

Thats good info, thanks. The 2 incoming classes look very solid.

Any idea what they'll do for goalies down the road? Murray is gone after this year, could easily see Brittain bailing if he has a strong season as well. Are we actively recruiting for a netminder or what?

I thought they made Wade Bennett student assistant coach? He's not listed on the website. My question was about him; is he/was he on scholarship? And if so, did that have any effect on the # of scholies DU could carry. So where's Wade right now??

Wade is listed as a student assistant in the media guide which was released yesterday.

Well...I am sure they are actively watching netminders just as they do any players. It really is not of an absolutely imperative nature as I have a feeling Big Sam will be here through next season. DU may lose some guys early but the netminders usually are not them, plus goalies are not usually the youngest to crack an NHL lineup.

Chevy left after three years, but he already had his degree from DU.

Which is why I said "usually".....

Draftsite.com's 2013 NHL Mock Draft has Will Butcher being selected late in the 1st Round and Gage Ausmus going late in the 2nd.

Shit, at this rate there won't be an NHL, and no NHL Draft
