DU Hockey Approaching Unusual Four-Year Streak

The last time DU was swept in a weekend series was Oct. 16, 2010 against Boston College.

The last time DU was swept in a WCHA series was Nov. 15, 2008.

DU's almost four-year streak of not being swept must be approaching if not setting an all-time WCHA record.

Gwozdecky's ability to make adjustments after a Friday night loss is unmatched in college hockey.

That is really incredible. I've been following them for the past 4 years and I'm surprised to hear that. It almost seems too difficult to believe.

Even DU's great teams in the early to mid Sixties that only lost on average 6 or 7 games a year went on one two-year streak.

To reverse the jinx, my Grandma Bella siad that we all need to spit on DG.

I told Grandma Bella that it was unpractical and unsanitary for 5000 people to spit on DG. Especially since he lives in Texass. She said we shouldn't worry too much about the Mankato series. Crazy things happen there but really have you seen their team this year? But when DG comes to town for the CC series the DU faithful should spit on him or at least have the waitress spit in his beer.

Um ... I’m afraid I won't be able to join you and Peter at the Bee for beers next week DG.
