Ticket Donation Plan Leads To Attendance Gains

The University of Denver has seen tremendous growth in home attendance for Men's basketball over the past few seasons. 71% growth in 2010-11 and 62% growth in 2011-12 has put DU in the top 10 in NCAA attendance increases the past two seasons. This is mainly due to the Rising Stars Program sponsored by Public Service Credit Union and community season ticket mini-plans purchased by DU's season ticket holders.

These tickets are donated to groups like Big Brothers / Big Sisters, the Boys & Girls Club and inner city Denver Rec Centers. Community season tickets are important for numerous reasons, primarily because it helps DU's home court advantage and keeps the season ticket numbers at a high level as we continue to stay competitive in the NCAA conference landscape.

Fans can donate community season ticket for just $35 and a receipt will be e-mailed to the address we have on file. The tickets will stay in-house and our community relations team will work hard to make sure each ticket gets used by some very deserving kids and families. Donating is easy, call DU at 303-871-3682.
