This will clearly be the top conference in college hockey. No other conference is even close.

Talk about a pathetic ooc schedule. Brown, Merrimack, they suck 3 atlantic hockey teams and both alaska schools? Should be the softest ooc schedule in the country. To bad gwoz couldnt get the gopher womens team on the schedule.

@ 6:07, how dare you. Have you not heard that UM and UW..... AND PSU are forming the BIG 10?? They have the money, the power. They will win it all. Complete domination... is what they, and some idiotic analysts hoped for. The WCHA will fade into the sunset. The NCHC - all has-beens, is nothing more than a South African bird flu virus.... The NCHC? Top conference????? Nooooo. Surely you jest.

The weak OOC schedule is not really DU's fault.

DU was slated to go to the GLI in Detroit and face tougher teams, but that all got pushed back a year due to the NHL lockout and the outdoor Winter Classic game getting pushed back from this year to next, which bumped the GLI for this year.

DU had to fill the slot.

DU will reportedly be in the GLI this year. That gives them a 36 game schedule by using the Alaska exemption.

Anon 8 02 you consider michigan st, michigan, and michigan tech tough teams? So you must be real happy with thia schedule then.

Don't we owe return trips to Lowell, Cornell, and maybe Yale and UNH at some point? I thought those were all home and home agreements.

I just confirmed that DU is not in the GLI this year, WMU is. As such, DU has two open dates due to the Alaska exemption. There are no common dates for DU to play Cornell in Ithaca, so I guess DU is trying to figure something else out.
