DU #1 In Lacrosse Polls For First Time

Cameron Flint scored the winning goal in overtime, as #4 Denver held off #6 Loyola, 13-12, on Saturday afternoon in front of 3,285 fans at Ridley Athletic Complex. Flint finished the day with four goals for the Pioneers (10-2), and Eric Adamson and Wesley Berg both had two goals and two assists.

Wow, pretty cool to be ranked #1. I remember when DU hockey got the number 1 ranking maybe 10-12 years ago, and it was the first time in eons. It's a big accomplishment for the lacrosse team to get that ranking for the first time ever. Hopefully they can put together a special season this year.
