The loss of Erich Bacher has been a blow to media relations at DU.

I’ve noticed that Charlie (Milk Toast) Host has replaced Mark Rycroft on the radio. Is Mark too busy with the Avs recent success? Is he persona non grata since he was Gwoz disciple? Did they toss Charlie off tv coverage?

I enjoy Mark's honesty and insights. I was thinking the other day that Rycroft would be great replacement for Killer. I know it's a long shot but it would be great to have a DU alum in that position.

I wonder if the media has lost interest in DU hockey?

I listened to the Radio show last night. Monty did a good job. Seems to have the right attitude and a good sense of humor. He may need it this year.

Interesting to hear Brittain on the show, too. He said practices are tough and Monty's system has them covering a lot of ice. The players seem to like him and the system...Seems like a very capable guy.
