Exciting hard-fought game last night. It wasn't always pretty, and CC had some good looks and generated some good scoring chances, but DU did just enough to win. Brittain was outstanding last night. Great to see Larazza get on the board for the first time. The student section was loud and boisterous. Good atmosphere last night.

Overall a great weekend for DU and an important series againt a CC team that is not exactly elite right now. 5 out 6 league points and hopefully a momentum builder going into next weekend againt WMU.

Gold pan!

Sam is carrying this team on his back. Another fantastic weekend. I don't know what Butcher did to put him on the sidelines on Friday but his play on Saturday was fantastic. Right now he's the best two way defensemen DU has. No disrespect to Makowski and Didier who have been great all season. Joey is the best forward on the team and Zajac is the best defensive offenseman out there. Doremus, Allen and Marcinew we're bangin. Loney was a beast! He showed real grit setting up the goal on Friday and his beat down of Stoykewych on Saturday was inspiring.

DU steps up and over CC. The doormat of the NCHC ... well, right now it's North Dakota.
