During her inauguration ceremony, Chancellor Chopp rightly focused on higher education now and in the future. Specifically, she gave details about DU's new 10 year plan, DU Impact 2025 which will be issued tomorrow. However, she also commented on athletics. By 2025, she said, "I see more championships in lacrosse, hockey, gymnastics and other sports."
The chancellor went on to say that the DU campus is a 'base camp' and 'sports create a spirit of unity'. Looks like we have the right
