Homecoming & Family Weekend

For those of you who have never gone to a DU homecoming weekend, LetsGoDU encourages you to join the party. It is a great way to visit with old acquaintances, meet new friends, see the campus and cheer for our Pioneers

If you live in the area - no excuses to not come. If you live anywhere else you can still score cheap flights and make it a 3-day getaway.

If you like sports, this weekend is ridiculous. See the highly ranked hockey, soccer, volleyball and lacrosse teams - all playing on the SAME weekend.

The Line-up:
M. Hockey vs. Michigan State - Friday (7:36 p.m.) & Sat (7:06 p.m.) - Magness Arena
W. Volleyball vs. Oral Roberts - Friday 7:00 p.m. - Hamilton Gym
W. Lacrosse vs. Colorado - Friday 7:00 p.m. - Peter Barton Stadium
M. Lacrosse vs. Colorado State - Sat 1:00 p.m. - Peter Barton Stadium
M. Soccer vs. U. Nebraska - Omaha - Sat 7:00 p.m. - CIBER Field

If you and/or you significant other want to do other things, here you go:
  • Circle up with alumni of all ages at the All-Alumni BBQ, reconnect with your classmates and meet fellow pioneers from every generation.
  • Just have fun, bring your family to Pio-Palooza and stimulate your taste buds at Taste of DU.
  • Explore campus with walking Tours of the art, architecture, and history of the University of Denver.
  • Discover new authors and meet them face-to-face at the Book Chat at the Book Stack. Readings and discussions with a New York Times bestseller, two Colorado Book Awards winners, fellow alums, faculty, and a current student.
  • Mingle and chat with our new Chancellor, Rebecca Chopp, and discuss the future of our University at Chopp Talk: Denver.
Plus - Come see the LetsGoDU's building, offices, suite, booth  tent  staff and buy us a beer - we'd love to see you there!

Give us your thoughts on Homecoming. Are you going? If so, why and if not why?
