OXFORD, Ohio - University of Denver sophomore defenseman Chris Butler (St. Louis, Mo.) earned All-Tournament honors at the 2006 Ice Breaker Invitational late Saturday night. Butler scored two goals and finished with five shots on goal as the No. 9 Pioneers finished with a 1-1 record at the Ice Breaker.
Butler netted an even-strength goal in DU's 5-2 loss to No. 8 Miami on Oct. 6 and added a power-play goal in the Pioneers' 3-2 win over No. 14 Colgate in the consolation game on Oct. 7. Butler and teammate Patrick Mullen (Pittsburgh, Pa.) lead the team with two goals each.
