The "Drew Shore For Hobey Campaign" kicked into high gear on Friday night at Magness Arena. Shore had two goals and three assists to lead the Pioneers to a 6-3 victory over Bemidji State.
Bemidji State led 1-0 after the first period, but DU scored five times in the second period to put the game out of reach. Ty Loney continued his recent scoring splurge with two goals.
The win was DU's fourth victory in five games and moved DU up six spots in the Pairwise Rankings to #16.

Very satisfying (and important) win. The Pioneers shook off a sluggish first period and rocked the house in the second with 5 goals. They've gotta keep the pedal to the metal on Saturday.
Why didn't Danny Doremus play?
Whatever happened to Mega-Boone?
After a very lethargic start the Pios started skating a bit and then took over the game. Big win. Glad to see Murray get another W, and Drew Shore had a really nice game to help spark the team.
Need another W tonight.
To say the Pios needed this is an understatement. I can only imagine what Gwoz said between the 1st and 2nd period. It would be nice to see them play a full 60 minutes.
Did Mermis play?
Congrats to Drew Shore... in 104 games he has joined the century club 100 points in his DU career and he's only a Junior. He's defiantly a very special player.
Shore is da man. If he sticks around next year he may end up with close to 200 points for his career.
Great game by Drew. Congrats on the century mark. Solid 2nd period by DU.
There could be crickets in Magness tonight with the Pats/Broncos game starting at 6.
Sweep them Beavers!
Drew Shore out tonight, ouch!!
Hopefully Mr. Larazza is no longer seeing stars swirling around his head like a halo, after that hit; Coach said in the post game he went to the hospital but was doing fine by game's end.
Those hits to the head have to be called and emphasized, every single time, in every single game across the NCAA
