Bemidji is a hungry team that is ranked just below DU in the Pairwise. If DU falls asleep, Bemidji could easily step up to sweep this weekend. A sweep would in all probability end DU's NCAA chances this season. It's gonna be a nail biter of a weekend.
Cmon DU, get it done! Looking forward to seeing the jolt that Zucker can provide. I also wonder whether Bennett's injury will increase the likelihood of him returning next year.
It sounds as though Bennett is still out for a while longer.
For what it's worth, I saw Bennett, Ryder and Brittain at Friday's game vs UAH. Bennett was still wearing what appeared to be a heavy duty cast or brace. Ryder was walking in the concourse and looked as good as new. So did Brittain.
Horrid 1st period for DU. Quite a game for Shore; both infact. If DS has a few more late season games like this.... that all but seals the deal for him to leave campus.... and unfortunately will also lay to rest any hopes of ever hearing a goal announced in Magness Arena as, "Shore from Shore and Shore"...and Hobey, here we come!

According to DenverPioneers.com, Makowski may not play again tonight or this weekend.
"David Makowski (upper body), Sam Brittain (knee), defenseman John Ryder (knee) and forward Beau Bennett (wrist) remain out with injuries."
Game is also on FCS Pacific.

To say this is must sweep weekend for DU is like saying that a two goal lead is tmdlich. Get it done boys. Go DU!
Does anyone know the specific on the David Makowski injury? Any word when Ryder will be back?
DU needs to get out of the quicksand, take a step forward, and get a sweep this weekend. Step it up fellas!
Due to Privacy & Medical Laws schools can't release specific injuries. Its up to the player to tell the media whats wrong.

I may wind up hating myself Sunday morning, but I've got a good feeling for this weekend.
Finishing the season with games that virtually all have huge PWR implications. Every single game is important.
