Bad Boyz Police Blotter

UND Hockey Players May Be Charged By Police

Grand Forks, ND - How do you celebrate one of the longest-shorthanded-goals-against-a-Minnesota-Gopher-goaltender? With a night out on the town with the boyz.
.
Unfortunately if you live in Grand Forks your options are severely limited. Judy's Tavern was selected by "WCHA Trickshot Artist" Robbie Bina and underage NHL Prospects Johnathan Towes & T.J. Oshie to celebrate Robbie's 100,000th hit on YouTube.
.
Witnesses reported seeing Bina shooting pucks at bottles behind the bar in one of his famous "trick shot exhibitions" before the police arrived.
.
Sophomore forwards Jonathan Toews and T.J. Oshie received citations for being at Judy's Tavern in Grand Forks on Sunday night. Junior defenseman Robbie Bina, who is 24 years old, may face charges of obstructing a police officer & for being too old to play college hockey.
.
UND coach Dave Hakstol who was asleep at the time of the incident, said it would be handled "internally." In other words...Since they're some of the best players on the team we'll let this one slide.

Police are examining whether Judy's will face any charges.

Dude, he's old because he's been recovering from a broken neck...i can't quite remember but it had something to do with a weak ass hit from a goon in red.

Sometimes I post things just to see how many North Dakota fans read the Blog.

I'm pretty sure Bina was framed. It's the only logical explanation.

I was wondering how long it would take for you to write something on it.

DG was enroute to Denver when the story broke. Otherwise he probably would have had it up just as it was breaking.

I'm most certainly a UND fan and I have always looked up to the players, but if they let it slide then I lose a lot of respect for a lot of people... They broke the law and should pay the price, they chose to act in the manner they did, so now the consequences should be there. Just because they are talented in hockey doesn't excuse their behavior. Ugh. I don't even need to get started...

An underage college kid drinking!? What is this world coming to!? Bina did recover from a broken neck... give the guy [another] break when it comes to his age already...
