The British Columbia Hockey League's websire is reporting that Stephen Cunningham will attend the University of Denver next season..
The Burnaby Express forward has accepted a scholarship to attend the University of Denver in the fall of 2007 where he will join former Express teammate Keith Seabrook. Cunningham is finishing his second full season with the Express.

Cunningham joined the Express in the 2005-06 season from the Bozeman Ice Dogs and played a key role in Burnaby's Fred Page Cup, Doyle Cup, and RBC Cup Championships in 2006. He finished the regular season with 19 points but is having a terrific post-season with 9 points through 9 games played.

Sounds like a guy that will bring some grit to the team. Sounds like a good signing.
Stephen scored the National Championship game winner last season. He was also hampered by injury this season but his play and his leadership has been second to none! He will fit in nicely with the Pioneers.
