Incoming freshmen Jon Cook, Steve Cunningham, Dusty Jackson & Tyler Bozak will be 21 next season. Kyle Ostrow, Marc Cheverie and Chris Nutini will be 20 years old by opening day.
The older freshmen are expected to bring size, strength and instant maturity to DU's lineup. All of the 21 year-olds are over 6 feet tall and will weigh at least 180 lbs.

I'm guessing that Gwoz was more than a little upset with some of the younger guys' reported attitude problems. He probably thinks some of these older guys' maturity may rub off on the younger stars-- and if it doesn't then they have the size to kick the shit out of them... :)

If the recruits get any older, DU is going to have to offer pension & retirement benefits.
If they stay four years you will have the Gophers not scheduling games against you guys because of the 25 year old canadians. I wonder sometimes if some of these kids barely 19 are ready to play in the WCHA.
All the teams that have won the NCAA from the WCHA have been older more experienced.
so three of our incomming recruits are older than one of our "potential seniors" Pauko who isnt even 21 yet...dang
