(left) Denver Post editors threaten the existence of Mike Chambers' College Hockey BlogImagine our dismay this morning upon learning that the Denver Post Editors a.k.a. "The Man," were coming down hard on our boy Mike Chambers. Turns out that the bosses at Denver's largest fishwrap are counting comments in their blogs and holding the writers responsible.
"Want to get your thoughts, people. Need to prove to my editors (and me, too) that this blog isn’t a waste of time. — MC"This kind of tyrannical management can not be allowed to stand. College hockey fans must unite and leave a few comments on Chambers' Blog to get "The Man" off his back. As an olive branch, we at LetsGoDU, are not going to post any disparaging comments about Colorado College for the next 24 hours as a sign of solidarity.

Nice job on commenting on Mike Chambers Blog. I wonder if he's going to get a raise now.
In this day and age of newspaper cutbacks we need to be vigilant that college hockey doesn't get short shifted by the Denver media. As DU's "flagship sport" the Post needs to understand how important college hockey is to the DU community.
With over 100,000 DU Alums in the Denver metro area we don't need some beancounter in the sports department jacking with us. :-)
