Joining four Indiana Ice players at the 2008 USHL Prospects/All-Star Game will be Ice Associate Head Coach Scott McConnell. McConnell will join Guest Coach Pat Funk behind the bench for the East Division at the annual classic slated this year for Tuesday, January 29th from the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI.
McConnell will be making his first appearance at the mid-season classic and is one half of the Ice’s coaching tandem that is responsible for the team’s best start in franchise history where the team is 22-6-3 at the midway point of the year.

Congrats to Scott.
I'm sure his Grandfather, Badger Bob Johnson, (who made more contributions to American Hockey than anyone who ever lived) is proudly looking down from the big hockey bench in the sky and saying "That's MY Grandson."
Bravo.
Are you saying that Badger Bob made more of a contribution to American hockey than LetsGoDU?
Congrats to Scott. Its great to see him carrying on the family legacy helping hockey players develop into fine athletes and leaders on and off the ice.
If you are still doing this blog in 40 more years, then we'll have an apples-to-apples to evaluate LGDU vs The Badger.
Just think, you'll be about 80 then, and we'll be coming up on CC's 100th year without an NCAA title.
