Damnit Jim! So much for the American dream of an education AND a hockey career.

I'm guessing we won't find out what really happened.

This has to be one of the strangest weeks in DU hockey history. There have been more rumors thans one person can keep track of. Jori, I agree with you in that what happened with Brock, if anything, will probably remain among his teammates and the athletic department. Now that he has signed a pro contract he can pay his parking fines and get the Denver boot off of his car.

Congrats to Brock! :)

Testing times ahead- Rugs is hurt and I talked to Mullen, Marcuzzi, Testwuide, and Glasser today and they said he's probably not going to play this weekend. And apparently Trotter got a $200k+ signing bonus.

Seriously, what could have possibly happened to this kid? I've heard 3 or 4 very different stories(one very interesting) and all are not good if true.

Long live the Fighting Sioux!

When it rains it pours.

Already in a serious downward spiral and now the team has lost its leading scorer--ouch. And Trotter had 2 years of eligibility left, if I'm not mistaken. I wouldn't be at all surprised if these guys missed the playoffs again.

Wow, this episode has taken bizarre to a whole new level. At least we have some closure. I've spent more time on hockey blogs this week than sleeping I think.

It sure sounds like there is a lot more to this story than what we're getting, but that's really no one's business except Trotter and DU. Good luck to him, he'll be missed.

It's time for the other guys on this team to step up.
