DU's 2008-09 Hockey Schedule

LetsGoDU
was able to obtain a copy of DU's official Hockey Schedule. The schedule looks awesome for DU fans to say the least.

Highlights Include

* CC @ DU Halloween night (Wear your favorite 50's Outfit)

* 8 of the first 9 games are at home!!!!

* Alberta, Notre Dame, Ohio State, BU, Holy Cross, RPI, Air Force, Colgate visit Magness Arena

* DU has Zero non-conference away games!!!

* 21 home games, 14 away plus one home exhibition.

* If DU gets home ice in the WCHA playoffs, DU will be playing 63% of its games at home.

* DU plays a single game at CC 2/13 & a single game against CC on 3/7 to close the season. Less annoying bye weeks and two extra opportunities to rub '57 in their faces. Plus with a single game in the Springs the DU students can load up the buses...

Great schedule.

Like to see all the home action.

Interstesing that they split up the last DU/CC series over different weeks - 2/13 @CC and 3/7@DU

Probably to keep both teams from getting too banged up heading into the playoffs...

By playing single games in a weekend you avoid bye weeks when the boyz can get into trouble and run off to the AHL. :-)

Wow, sheets you must be so proud what a difficult out of conference schedule. can't wait to see sissy boy Vossberg back at the Ralph.

Anon 4:16. Hey, Jethro, why don't you go dig up more sod so you can get the funds to bail your weenie friends out of the slammer.

Can't wait? You hoping Vossberg will show you a glimpse of the Broadmoor? Who'd DU beat in the semi's at the Final 5?

Anyword from the DU roadtrip team which trip if any they will be making?

4:16.....you are correct, slapdick. Vossberg and the rest of the Pioneers will visit UND next season. Watch DU closely....you'll see a team that plays the game the right way.

Make sure you give a big shout-out to that no-talent hack Radke the next time you see him at the arcade. He's the brainless clod in the back cleaning the crapper.

Can't wait for the 08-09 season to begin. Love the schedule, especially with the multitude of home games and fewer bye weeks than last year. We should have a very exciting team.

Yep Anon 6:06 you beat N Dakota and where you at your own frozen 4 The NoDak boys did say DU did a nice job of cleening the locker rooms. You should be proud.

9:53.....dude, are you a UND graduate or a current student?? You write and spell about as well as my 6-year old nephew. I would recommend checking out English for Dummies.....you need the help.

I'm guessing the out of town trip needs to be North Dakota.

CC on Halloween or the Denver Cup would be the best trips for Denver out of town fans.

Most UND fans never went to school there. :-)
