And my Pioneer Spirit is further weakened by the fact that our men's basketball team is 0-5.

We share your concern about DU misleading our prospective students and parents about Ruckus' effectiveness.
We too are unhappy about the slow start for the basketball team. We've held high level meetings this week at LetsGoDU's corporate Headquarters about what to do if the losing streak goes into January. LetsGoDU will not sit idlely by, while our hoopsters get ravaged by Division I opponents.
Our basketball team is 0-5 becuase they are the youngest team in America (18.9) average age, no seniors, one junior who plays), 6ix of the first sven ganes are on the road, and DU's bench is only 7-8 players deep.
Be patient with them.
Joe Scott is a great coach and knows what he's doing. The team will get better, much better.
Maybe DU could find some extra college eligibility for Stephon Marbury :-)
