This Weeks Polls

"The Pioneers are sizzling, having won seven in a row, but the holiday break is welcome; star forward Tyler Bozak left Friday's game at Minnesota State with an injury and did not play Saturday."
-Inside College Hockey

LetsGoDU Top 10 SuperPoll®

1). Denver - Only two teams have more wins than the Pioneers in college hockey and DU has defeated both Notre Dame & Air Force
2). Boston University - Gearing up for Denver Cup showdown with DU
3). Notre Dame - Early season loss to DU now in rear view mirror
4). Miami - Enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend pounding on "Cupcake of the Week" RPI.
5). Wisconsin - What did a scout think about Patrick Wiercioch (7 goals, 7 assists in 15 games)? "Of the 38 players vying for spots on Team Canada, Wiercioch was the most improved player last year."
6).
Minnesota - We worry about a team that can't sweep a fading Colorado College
7). Air Force - The #1 ranked team in Colorado Springs by a wide margin.
8). Northeastern - 3rd Place in the RPI Tournament and will likely get third place in the Beanpot, but may win Hockey East.
9). Boston College - 4 more National Championships and they'll be tied with DU.
10). Princeton - We're not actually buying any of this "Princeton is really good" crap the national college publications are selling, we just think it would be funny to see another ECAC #1 seed get trounced in the Tourney.
Last). Colorado College - Hey Bachman, the Dallas Stars called. They have your plane ticket booked to the ECHL.

The LetsGoDU Super Poll® is a scientific analysis factoring strength of schedule, player statistics and coaching tendencies. Then Denver is automatically placed in the one hole, CC is placed last and the rest of the teams more or less settle where they might likely finish.
