It was good to see DU taking care of business tonight and everyone doing their part. I had no idea Rus. was out with an illness. Get well soon. DU came in tonight and handled the play pretty well... though I'll admit the PP still pissed me off quite a bit. When will this team realize they have to crash the net at times? It's can't always be pretty. Sometimes going for garbage is the best and in fact that's how they got their 2nd goal tonight.

DU has a lot to work on. They need to get their speed game going again and the physical play along the boards. For tonight though... it was enough to sweep.

Expect a war at that God Forsaken school North Dakota in 2 weeks. DU better be ready for the fight.

Nice solid effort tonight! Chevy was great--kept us in it in the 1st and 2nd. MTU had just a handful of shots in the third. Excellent effort by Jesse Martin tonight. I also loved seeing the boys hitting. Also great job adjustment to the Huskies press. DU was moving the puck so much better tonight. Coach said Tyler started puking in the pregame meeting and was really sick. IV fluids just like some of my buddies on this board after Friday night's craziness!

I love that the Tigers fell to State and our 5 back. They have the Badgers up there next weekend.

I do think, against the big names of the conference we're going to be hurting without Tyler B!

Oh ya... but that doesn't give DU any excuse to just roll over for the top teams in the conference or the NCAA either. There is still a ton of depth, scoring and skill on this team.

Bozak would help yes but still... no excuse.
