DU-UND Pregame Media Roundup

The Rocky Mountain News expects DU to get a chilly reception in North Dakota.
"The University of Denver hockey team has left its balmy hometown for frigid North Dakota, where Brandon Vossberg and the rest of the Pioneers know their reception will be even more chilling."

The Denver Post promises that DU won't turn the other cheek this time in Grand Forks.
"Last season in Grand Forks, the Sioux swept DU in a chippy series that included three full-fledged fights in the finale. In the final brawl between North Dakota's Kyle Radke and Brandon Vossberg, Gwozdecky was furious his players remained spectators when Radke took Vossberg down to the ice and pummeled him in defenseless fashion."

The Grand Forks Herald says that UND's regular season hinges on this series.
"This weekend’s series against Denver may determine whether the rest of the regular season will be spent fighting for the MacNaughton Cup or for home ice in the first round of the playoffs."

I only wish Testwuide had gotten another crack at that worthless no talent hack Radke.

Another crack? He didn't take his helmet off the first time. I'm intrigued on how this is the photo shown. Testee didn't want to man up and that's the only reason I had no problem with Radke dropping a couple bombs when T was on the ice.

12:20....huh?? Go back and watch Testwuide vs Radke on Youtube. Both players pushed and shoved, took their helmets off fair and square and were ready to throw and the refs jumped in. Vossberg was the player who that dumbass Radke pounded on while he was flat on the ice. Radke and Testwuide never engaged again after that first scrap. The shit that Radke pulled on Vossberg was completely bush league.

hahahah, talk the talk in the paper. sounds like the ass kicking the sioux gave the gophers and the way they did it brough up memories of last season for du. sioux already in denvers head. good luck being physical, the sioux will do that and score goals. these games will be close and its funny how worried the daniel booners are about the sioux playing physical which they do every weekend. i respect du more than minny.at least they have a spine inlike lucia and his panzy kid

Rather hilarious that DU fans consider Sioux fans coarse Hillbillies (where there are no hills?!!), mulletheads, and non-intellectual. Whereas rival North Dakota State (NDSU) fans consider Sioux fans to be preppy, turtle-neck and Birkenstock wearing intellectual snobs.

Would love to see a clash of NDSU - DU cultures sometime!!
