(above) Rhett Rakhshani was named co-Offensive Player of the WeekUniversity of Denver junior forward Rhett Rakhshani has been named Red Baron® WCHA co-Offensive Player of the Week for Feb. 10-16. Rakhshani shares the offensive honor with Wisconsin’s Jamie McBain.
Rakhshani helped the league-leading Pioneers to a two-game road split at Minnesota Duluth with a two-goal, two-assist series. He scored the game-winning goal and added two assists in Denver’s 4-3 victory over the host Bulldogs on Feb. 6 and then came back to score a power-play goal in a 4-2 setback on Feb. 7.
