Chamber's Blog Reports That Martin Is Injured

Add Jesse Martin to the list of injured Pioneer hockey players.

According to Denver Post reporter Mike Chambers, Martin is questionable and won't practice until Wednesday and will be a game time decision on Friday.

Tyler Bozak may not return until the NCAA playoffs next week, Tyler Ruegsegger may or may not be out for the season with a knee injury and Chris Nutini has missed the past month with a shoulder injury.

Coach Gwozdecky did mention on his radio show that Ruegsegger may be available for the NCAA Tournament with a "brace."

Jezz... we are dropping like flies.

It's like we've been hanging with the Avs all season.

From the looks of the PWR right now and Jason Moy's bracketology story on USCHO, DU may be better off losing in the WCHA tourney and dropping to #2 seed.

If the NCAAs began today with DU as a #1 seed, we'd be looking playing Miami in the Minneapolis Regional, with likely Minnesota waiting for us on home ice in game 2 (should DU get by Miami and Minnesota beats Northeastern).

I don't want to see DU in Michigan's regiionla either in Grand Rapids. I'd rather take my chances in Manchester or Bridgeport.

Boston Univ. is tops on my avoid list for the regionals.

Agreed on BU. The later we play them the better and the only way to avoid them with any certainty is becoming a #1 seed.

The problem with Bracketology is that wins & losses move teams around and no one knows what the Committee will do on Sunday.

You want to be a #1 seed so that you have last shift change in both Regional games.

I think if we have the Tylers back it wont make a huge difference in the seeding we get. But number 1 does have a advantage.

Possibly playing with a brace? I just hope Tyler doesn't hurt himself more.
