Heck of an award for for J.P. Testwuide. A player from Vail, Colorado who was an "invited walk-on" player at forward.
Improved every season at DU and became the first Colorado born Captain at DU.
Outstanding student & athlete & leader.
At the end of the day DU captains are judged on the hardware, so JP has two shots in the next few weeks to finish the job.
Congratulations to all honorees. Wiercioch, Chevy, and Maiani seemed to be locks for some level of all-league honors, but I'm glad Colborne and Rhett were honored. Colborne really came on as the season progressed. It's hard not be excited about his potential.
I remember last year at this time there was some trepidation about goaltending in 08-09--Mannino had graduated, and we had a new guy in the mix. I'd say Chevy did a heck of a job!!
Quite an award for Testwuide! he deserves it. Tough as nails, he has worked hard and earned everything.
Looking at this list, I wonder how many honors Bozak would have racked up had he not been injured......
