Sounds like Patrick Wiercioch's shoulder is still bothering him. The good news is that Ottawa General Manager Brian Murray expects Wiercioch to remain at DU through next season.
Interesting to note that the shoulder was injured before last season and he still had an amazing year. If they can get the shoulder fixed, Wiercioch figures to be a very dominating player next season. It also explains why he didn't appear to be very physical along the boards this past season.

First-year University of Denver defenseman Patrick Wiercioch will also be in Ottawa soon. He had a separated shoulder before the start of last season and Murray wants to have him checked by doctors in Ottawa.
Murray expects the 18-year-old to stay at least another year in Denver.
