Another DUI Arrest For A North Dakota Player

Frattin, 21, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence on Wednesday, according to a team statement. Coach Dave Hakstol announced Frattin’s dismissal for a violation of team rules.

In July, Frattin and former North Dakota teammate Joe Finley were arrested for disorderly conduct after campus police observed them throwing cups, plates, a kitchen table and a lawnmower from a residential garage.

Kyle Radke was not home at the time of the party and charges were immediately dropped.

Robbie Bina was acquitted (strange that the trial date being set is on your list but not the acquittal).

Charges were dropped against Oshie because the elevator (not a dormitory elevator, btw) had been stuck for 2.5 hours.

But never mind any of that...

have to give ND credit they don't protect their players from the messes they create. Other schools have even longer lists of offenders that never get the press or punishment.

Hakstool is an enabler.

Elevators don't seem to be that hard to operate. Press button of desired floor, stay clear of the doors and wait to pee until you arrive at desired destination.

well when you have 20 some people in said elevator, it's ability to work efficiently is severely inhibited once the weight limit is passed.

*rolls eyes*

Didn't Finley also have a DUI?

11:10...that's a piss poor (pardon the pun) attempt to exonerate your favorite delinquents from UND. Keep trying though, and we'll keep chuckling as the dimwits from UND run afoul of the law.

Why are Sue fans in denial? The first step is admitting you have a problem.Stop poo-pooing all these charges and ask for some accountability and maybe these off-ice problems will stop or at least decrease.

i think it's really pathetic that a few people around here take joy in this. Matt obviously has a problem, which is why he was kicked off the team, and we can only hope he can get his act together, and anyone who wishes otherwise lacks compassion. A DUI is serious and not a laughing matter anyone should be making fun of.

LMAO-Sue fans talking about compassion!

A UND Ass kicking sweep by DU is serious and not a laughing matter anyone should be making fun of. We'll be sure to send postcards with pictures from Michigan in April!

Why does DU worry about the Sioux program? They were enablers of the biggest goon in the league (Pauk). Any death threats that kid got were deserved and I hope he still gets them. He's no better than Dany Heatley.

Val and Giby must be so proud of their little boy

8:53- Now there's that famous Sue compassion somebody mentioned. It's unbelievable that you still can't let that go.Let it go,move on with your life, everyone else that was involved has moved on.Pathethic that you still obsess about that.Find a new hobby or get some therapy.

It would appear that the other teams in the league just cover up their hockey players charges. At least the Sioux hockey players aren't beating people up in bars like the DU LAX team.

Anonymous said...

No, they're just driving around trying to kill people out on the streets. Yeah, that's better isn't it? Jackass!

Good comment dumbass...this is a hockey blog.

I honestly think this rivalry is getting to be bigger & better than Colorado College. But the more I think about it - CC just flat out sucks and always has. I'll still give NoDak the benefit of the doubt; they don't "suck" per se (yet).... but they have and will get beaten by a better Denver team.

Just for the record DU was lit up last year by the Sioux 8-3 so to call DU the better team is putting the cart in front of the horse.

Anonymous said...

Beaten in one game?? So what? One game hardly proves superiority, dumbass.

The Sioux may be better than the Pios in the regular season in recent years, but the Pios have owned the Sioux in the WCHA and NCAA playoffs in the last 5 years or so, when the hardware is on the line.

DU's fans suck, the school sucks, the coach sucks, the writer of this blog sucks, and Swami sucks. Pauk is a spineless hockey player that should be banned from the sport forever.

Plenty of other bad boys out there. Wisconsin just keeps theirs out of the press.

1:44....you sound a little bitter, slapdick. Mommy and daddy grounded you again for playing grab ass with your sister? Maybe some of us DU fans can pitch in and buy you some new coloring books and hot wheels.

Dirty said...

I don't even get partial credit for breaking this story. Thanks alot. Last time I ever help you!

Anonymous said...

Hey Swami - you have reached the pinnacle...1:44 says you suck without you even saying a word in this thread. I'm in awe.

Anonymous said...

maybe DU should worry about beating CC they since they have only done it once in the last 2 years.

Anonymous said...

I posted earlier about this being the biggest rivalry.. 28 posts and counting. DG, you struck a nerve! Imagine being the poor Refs who get assigned to work the first night these 2 teams meet? They'd be like, "Oh Sh!t".... why me? In my opinion, all penalties aside... that might be the marquee matchup this year in the entire WCHA. Both teams better show up and be ready for business!

Dirty said...

No doubt. Not only does the ref have to worry about players being checked from behind, "nutted", beaten up and general chaos but he also has to watch out for coaches flicking him off, dancing on the dasher and running all over the ice. Utter zaniness.

please if you want to go and try to insult DU as a school, 1:44, maybe you should look at who you're comparing it to since DU is ranked 84th by US news for best universities in the nation and UND is not even ranked. nice try though. also, i'm sorry our fans actually posses something called class. finally if this blog sucks, uh why are you wasting your time reading it, and then commenting on it?
so please stop wasting all of our time posting your unintelligent remarks that just prove what a joke UND is. thanks
