2010 & 2011 Drafts May Have Early DU Selections

Two DU recruits are expected to go in the first two rounds in next summer's NHL Draft. Beau Bennett and Jason Zucker are projected to go in the Top 60 picks in this mock Draft.

Goaltender Sam Brittain, who's arrival date at DU may hinge on Marc Cheverie's professional plans has been rated by NHL Central Scouting as one of the top six North American goaltenders eligible for the 2010 Draft.

The 2011 NHL Draft is still over a year and a half away, but two DU recruits are being mentioned as possible First Round Draft Choices. Forward Nick Shore who will play for the Pioneers next season has always been highly sought after.

Towering defenseman Scott Mayfield (6'4 175 lbs) is starting to turn some heads while having a good season with the USHL Youngstown Phantoms (7g, 7a, 38 games). Mayfield will play in the USHL again next season before enrolling in DU in 2011.
