Nice!

Instead of CC fans bitching about how rude we were they should be looking at their crowd and going... where the hell were the fans. There was only 1 CC fan in the crowd who stood up and even when they were being blown out and that was Tig. Maybe if the crowd actually cared you wouldn't of had 300 DU fans go in and take over your building.

Come on CC Step Your Game Up!

Except for in Grand Forks, ND - most people just don't blow the extra cash they do have these days on mediocre entertainment.....and that's exactly what CC is.... a bad choice as far as entertainment dollars goes. If you live in Colorado Springs, you're better off with Garden of the Gods, a movie or the Figure Skating museum. Certainly not sitting inside World Arena freezing your butt off and being overcharged for food... and watching a crap team like CC trying to eek out a win. THAT'S where the CC fans were..... or maybe they went to the Royal Gorge or something FUN and EXCITING

Great video!
No DU highlights on PioneerVision this week. Wouldn't cc release the tape?

Having a fan base that can make an impact at a rivals' arena is the next step in the overall development of he fan base. Next year, we'll be louder (and hopefully a little smarter).

Singing your school fight song in another's arena is one of those moments when you know you're a Pioneer. I always felt more like Pioneer on the road, where there are less of you and you represent others who could not be there. Of my five biggest moments as a DU fan, the top four of them were in arenas far from Denver. Two NCAA Crowns in Boston (04) and Columbus (05), a stunning NCAA regional win in Colorado Springs (04), A Frozen Four appearance in Providence (86) and a home NCAA Q-final win against Cornell (86) represent my Big 5 moments.

Has anyone noticed that CC uses official DU gear when making fun of DU players in the penalty box? Considering we have a law school and they don't, this is a potential moneymaking opportunity- reparations for each infraction of license violations...

Ya, I've noticed... especially since one of the jerseys they use has 2004 national champs on it. ;)

If the school song is sung after goals, "Rah, Rah, Rah" could be replaced with "sieve, sieve, sieve." Just a thought.

In "Sweet Caroline," Bom, bom, bom" could be replaced with "CC sucks"

Where did they sit you guys, up in the HVAC ducts? Great outcome...so who cares about the seats! CC sucks.

It great that there was a strong DU showing in the Springs, but we shouldn't throw stones too much as every time NoDaK or U Minn comes to DU, it feels/sounds like a home game for them. Its time to have DU fans consistently get excited, not just when we go down the road to beat up on little sister.

I am guessing Magness will be empty and quiet this weekend, lets hope the team shows up even if the fans don't

The to controlling Magness is having a large season ticket base.

Lets hope that as the economy improves, people convert their Friday or Saturday tickets into full season packages.

Sweet Caroline sounds like a great song to alter at a rival rink - natural and high volume opportunity. It's not our song, so alter it any way that improves it.

But I believe the Fight Song (written in 1916)should never be sung with different words. It is nearly 100 years old now, and should, in my opinion, always be sung as purely as the day it was written. It's like a fine wine, a symphony or a great work of art. Let it be. It works. It's OUR history and tradition. I love the idea that the "Rah, Rah, Rah" was sung in the 1920s when people wore furs to DU football games and cheered against Whizzer White. Or that "Rah, Rah, Rah" was present in the 50s and 60s when we became a national hockey powerhouse.

"Long may we cherish her, faithful and true."

our own version of "March Magness"! This weekend against MTU should have been televised, and they should have moved Senior night to this series. This will be the absolutle last time ever to see Rak & Ruegs play together - and here, as well as the other Senior Citizens of boonetown.

Why the hell would this not be on TV??
