Should be all kinds of lawsuits coming out of this. Cervical collars and neck braces will be flying off the shelves in Boston today as the occupants of the Jeep and the occupants of the trolley jockey for payoffs from the SUV driver and the MBTA....
If this were North Dakota the three players would get something like a two game suspension but Boston College is a jesuit run private school that runs it's programs similar to D.U. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a one year suspension lurking,or even expulsion from the team.
No, they're safe - according to what this moron reporter said, "the driver was not drinking at the time of the crash". WTF? So - they all got hammered on a 5th of SkyyBlue like 10 minutes earlier..... but he was not drinking AT THE TIME OF THE CRASH, so that makes it all right. So I guess he had to have been caught taking swigs while driving??? That's fugged up. All these guys would fit in great at UND; they should put in for transfer. "Son, of course you can still play hockey; but you can't play here"....
I may be a BU fan, but I love any blog where the atmosphere is one of hating UND and BC at the same time. Thanks for posting this up, I hadn't seen it yet! Nice work.

I believe Jeep Grand Cherokees only have seating for 5 and 5 seat belts.
So the driver potentially has some real liability issues if anyone was seriously hurt.
