University of Denver Flash Mob from Jerad Larkin on Vimeo.
Each Spring the University of Denver Programs Board plans out a week long party outside in the sun, known as May Days. One of the things DUPB planned for the spring of 2010 was a surprise for all. The "flash mob" was quite the sight to see.
A flash mob is large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then quickly disperse (Wikipedia.com).
This flash mob was filmed from several different angles with many different video cameras ranging in quality.

Boone seemed to get better as the 'dancing' progressed...
This should be DU's recruiting video. Talk about Hotties.
Admissions was going tape this but backed out the day of. You would think that they would (and should) be all over something like this.
DU's University Communications was involved in the recording, according to the credits, and news of this was on DU's main web site, so I would bet they'll repurpose the footage into something useful.
I must say, when I went to DU back in the stone-age 1980s, a lot DU students exhuded a sense of "I'm -to-cool-for-shool-spirit behind their ubiquitous Vuarnet sunglasses. Today's DU students look like they have more fun...
Vuarnet sunglasses?
Swami you are so "Last Century."
Glad to hear the painfully-predictable DU hockey arena playlist is alive and well even in the off-season.
Good stuff. Boone's lookin' good, and its nice to see some fun stuff happening on campus. I'm sure this provided the law students across the lawn a nice distraction from their serious studies...
DG:
Not only am I last Century - I'm last Millennium!
Then again, you were there, too.
And speaking of hot girls - where the hell are these cheerleaders for the hockey games? That is such a cotton-picking shame. Why don't they dance in the aisleways during timeouts? We're lucky to see them at one or 2 games a year at best.
WHY WHY W H Y
Okay... Alumni should have a May Days too... Especially the alumni that brought back Boone!
That looked awesome...
Sweet Caroline is property of the Boston Red Sox fans !! Exclusive rights .... when will you Denver folks accept the fact that the Sox won and now you can't play , dance or sing that song EVER AGAIN >
