I mean, lets be honest, Brittain is already WAAAAAY better than murray.... only 4 goals against DU in his 2 games and 2 of those deflected off of DU d-men and a third was empty net.
Watching Murray Friday night against Vermont, you could see that he was nervous, even before the second period barage. He was talking to himself, shaking his head.
The team has been playing better on Saturday than on Friday. That certainly has helped Brittain's numbers. We'll find out this weekend whether the team plays better in front of him.
I'm curious to see how this series plays out. DU had a much better showing last Sat against BC but couldn't find the back of the net. This weekend probably won't be a whole lot easier. The PP has to get better, and guys like K. Ostrow and Maiani need to start scoring.
