NHL.com: Drew Shore - Prospect On Fire

From: NHL.com

Forward Drew Shore takes home this week's honor of “Prospect On Fire”.

In his second season playing for the University of Denver, the sophomore has had a great start, compiling 22 points in 16 games of action including 12 goals. His goal and point totals leads Denver with his point total tying him for third overall in all of college hockey.

The Denver, Colorado native had a great weekend, recording six points (four goals) while leading Denver Cup. He netted a hat trick and an assist in Denver's first game against Lake Superior State. The 6'3 center then recorded the game-winner and added an assist in the title game against Air Force. Those efforts netted him the MVP of the Thanksgiving tournament.

"Throughout the summer, I kind of used last year as motivation and I definitely wanted to have a good start," said Shore to the media following the tournament. Shore had 19 points in 41 games as a freshman last season. "With a good start, confidence starts to come and I'm just going to try and keep rolling."

He has really changed this year. DG, why don't you re-post the link on YouTube from when he was in Ann Arbor a couple years ago. I don't think he was shaving yet back then. LOL
