A little 824 mile bus ride doesn't scare Minnesota State coach Troy Jutting. Minnesota State will embark for Denver via Interstate 80 on Wednesday morning. Twelve hours on the road, playing cards, surfing the internet, doing homework and telling jokes.

Kool-Aid was invented in Hastings, Nebraska. Any resemblance to '80s Boone Mascot is strictly a coincidence

Two weeks ago Colorado College took a 21 hour bus ride from Bemidji to Colorado Springs via Minneapolis when their flight was delayed by a blizzard.

Who can forget the epic video footage of the Bowling Green hockey team bus stuck in the snow in Nebraska in 2007? ----------
Or the good old days when DU hockey player Tom Martin was traded for a bus while he was playing for the University of Denver in 1983. The Seattle Breakers traded Martin's WHL rights to Victoria with cash for a used team bus and future considerations. In fact, the deal was really just Martin straight-up in lieu of Seattle having to make a down payment on Victoria's spare bus.

Someone called me today and asked if Mankato would be using the trip as a recruiting tool.
The bus will pass through USHL towns Sioux City, Omaha, Lincoln & Tri-Cities.
Instead of having recruits visit Mankato, the team could stop by their billets houses and say "Hi."
No short bus like like CC?
I hope they don't have probs with the heater on the bus...
No, short Busses are for mentally retarted people. The Mavericks players and fans do not fit that description. But as we all know - CC & the Springs is a virtual breeding ground and haven for retards - so only they require a short bus - and they prefer a vintage '57 model.....
Ron Mexico, errrr, Abe was conceived on a short bus.

I was trying to make nice dude. I removed the offensive posts…

go back the troll hole whre you cam from...
Mentioned on the Sioux TV broadcast against Bemidji two weeks ago...
North Dakota will be chartering a fight to Denver next season and will be auctioning off seats on the plane to fans.
Have to wonder if the winning bidders will just get off the plane in Denver and never go home.
mexico- you look in the dictionary under troll and your picture is there.
All the North Dakotans who can afford the charter auction already live here in Denver. We see about 500 of them at Magness whenever UND plays in Denver.
BGSU should have given the John Deere driver a letter. :-}

I have defeated this earthworm with my words. Imagine what I would have done with my fire breathing fists.
I have thought and thought about it - but I'll be dammned. Even Fighting Sioux fans have more brain activity and ability than the Colorado College fans and players. What is it about Pikes Peak that virtually invites the mentally challenged? It's actually quite intriguing. Fear not! We will get this riddle solved! Until then - you Tiger people just focus your dixlexis asses on these 4 numbers.. 1 9 5 7
Crap I wish DU fans came out like Sioux Nation. If DU fans got as fired up over Pio hockey as they do becoming Metro Denver State University...maybe I wouldn't see so many empty red seats.
those empty red seats were just participating is the Code Red event last weekend.
