From those terrifying first minutes to the delicate and difficult surgery to the amazing recovery. The most inspirational athlete at DU without question.
I continue to be so grateful for his progress and so proud of his demeanor. Jesse's a great example of the kind of young people we have on our campus. The piece was terrific but I have just one quibble. Bacher needs to do what he can to make sure media outlets stop using that danged bird.

Seven minute video well worth your time. A first-class video documentary following Jesse around campus for a day.

Amazing that the scar is so small.
When you hear about the surgery, inserting screws and the like, you just can't believe that did all that through a one inch opening.
A great, inspirational story. Thanks for posting, DG.

Old Pio, I came on to leave the exact same comment that you did. The Jelly Doughnut is dead. Long Live Boone :)
