It looks like If D.U. wins and Boston College beats Merimac and Western Mich. beats Miami the Pios get into a no.one seed. I thinkZ??

I will take your word for it aluum, that's way too much math for me, it makes my brain ache.

Looks like CC will probably be in.

As long as we beat NoDak and Western Michigan beats Miami, we have a good shot at landing the last #1 seed.

And yes, we need BC to beat Merrimac for that to happen as well.

Should be a classic. Come on, DU take it to the sioux!

I'll be at the game tonight. The place will be a madhouse...like being at a game in NoDak, except the X can fit about 8,000 more fans than the Ralph can...and most all of 'em will be Sioux tonight. It'll be a crazy game to be at for a Pio!

My sister was at the game last night and she said it felt like a Sioux home game at the Ralph...only a lot more Sioux fans. Go for it DU...it should be nuts in the Center tonight!

Where in St Paul can we find fellow DU fans before the game?

The Saint Paul Hotel Grill/Bar before the game.

Heading to Xcel @ 6:30.

Good luck to the boys in Crimson and Gold. This is a tough one but a great final warm up for the NCAA Tournament. Let's take the League Title!

Going into 2nd OT...Go Pios!!!

DU/CC Dad said...

Pios played a hell of a game against the #1 team in the country...we will meet again soon...anybody notice that the xcel center was packed...ECAC and CCHA championship games were half empty...we have the best teams and the best fans...Go DU!!!!

Great effort for the Pios tonight. UND had three good bounces for their goals, and that's the way it goes sometimes. I thought DU was the better team tonight, but sometimes the better team doesn't win.

If the Pios play like that in the NCAAs, they'll go far.

DU/CC Dad said...

If we play like we did tonight we're gonna bring home our 8th...good job Pios...you played great...bring on the NCAA's

The selection committe will hose DU once again and put them in the same region as North Dakota. Count on it. They don't want 4 wcha teams in the finals, therefor the wcha will probably be in 2 regions.

Who's going to watch ESPN2 tomorrow at 9:30 am?
I know I am.

Bracket integrity has DU (7) going to Green Bay to play Western Michigan (10). If DU beats WMU, they would play the winner of UND (3) and RPI (15).

UND scored three goals on strange bounces tonight, and DU attempted over 90 shots.

DU can beat UND or anyone else if they play like they did tonight.

I think that last night, Sam Brittain played his best game so far, in a DU jersey.... timing couldn't be better

MagnessMan said...

Yes, Sammy was on it last night for sure. He's the biggest factor going down the stretch. Boys played great both games this weekend and head into next week ready to rumble. Kyle O is an amazing leader--that guy was working his tail off on every shift. I don't care who we draw. UND heads into the tourney over confident and with a long history of choking. Love it that all three CO programs are dancing.

I am very proud of this team. They are truly deserving of our love and support!

Go DU!
