Chambers Blog Has The Lowdown On Boonetown

Our favorite college hockey beat writer has lots of little nuggets this week in two postings.  Tyler Bozak, Marc Cheverie and Terry Frei are just some of the celebrities that will likely attend the DU Hockey Banquet on Friday night.  Sounds like its going to be an epic evening.

Chambers also has some suggestions for DU hockey alum Rod Summers who controls the 50-50 Raffle account.

DU is close to signing another Shore brother according to Chambers.  The last time DU had three brothers who played at DU were the Berry brothers in the Seventies.

The odds are low but it would truly be something to have three brothers together on one line.

Thanks Waterton. I've corrected the article. :-)

As the guy who was probably Paul Phillips' most outspoken critic last year, I think he's been the most improved player. He played very solidly, especially in the second half.

We had #4 to step up in the coughing up the puck department this year.

Shore was a beast this year, though. The WJC's seemed to really take his game to the next level.

Captains get announced tomorrow, right?

Captain has to be Lee. He wore the A as a junior this year. Shore will get an A though.

Since I won't be at the banquet tonight, I hope DG and his ace reporters will provide coverage and pictures of the event.

I nominate DG for outstanding hockey supporter!

Which brings up a good question. Are cameras allowed? I don't remember seeing any pics from prior years....

Chambers has a new entry in his blog saying that Zucker plans on staying at DU for next season.
