The Daily Beast.com has named the University of Denver one of the Top 15 Party Schools in the United States. DU was ranked ahead of Duke, Ohio State and the University of North Carolina.

This is a bogus list. Any top 15 list that doesn't include Arizona State University or the University of Colorado in its top 15 is just flat BS. Perhaps the author of the list conceptualizes parties as having finger sandwiches, wine spritzers with music provided by a Lawrence Welk clone.
I'm as big of a DU homer as they come and I love to share any "DU is better than all the other Colorado schools" list with my friends, but this list is embarrassing. There is no way that DU is the top party school in the state let alone in the top 25 in the country. Just look at the photo they used for this article and compare it to the recent images from that pool party at CSU. If you looked at those two images alone, who are you picking as the bigger party school? It isn't the one with the cute flash mob.
Any list of "party schools" that doesn't include the University of Wyoming somewhere in the top 5 is a complete and utter fraud.
I remember one late 90's "On Campus" issue of Playboy where, after something like 5 consecutive years at the top of the party school list, the editors "retired" Wyoming for a couple of years with the following statement:
"Sorry Wyoming, college competitions are supposed to be reserved for amateurs...you're professionals."
Almost makes me wish I'd have gone there....almost...

There is a 0% chance that DU is the biggest party school in the state. Absolutely random collection of schools on here...
This is a load of crap. Just from reading the almost every week news events ,both C.U. and C.S.U. are far ahead in drunken rowdeism.
