Per Chambers, Great Brittain to start in goal. Sounds like Phillips is out and DU will roll five D-men.

I would imagine a lot of the team is banged up. Tough to not have Paul on the ice, he has been consistent all season. Hope he is back next week.

It would be great to have some of the injured players back next week. You know they want to be on the ice!

Phillips has steadily improved in each of his three seasons. This season he seemingly has improved weekend-to-weekend and has become a stable rock for DU's blue line. Players like Phillips rarely get the accolades or the admiration some other 'stars' get, but guys like him are indispensable for a team intent on being a winning team.

What kind of crap is this Shore's, and Zucker not in the Hobey final total BS

A casual fan (you sound like one based on the tone of your comment) might immediately put Zucker above Shore. But if you watched the whole season you'd see that Shore has had a more well-rounded year. Not only putting the puck in the net, but setting up teammates with incredible passes, playing a physical game. Zucker has been incredible, too. I haven't seen a guy with Zucker's level of hustle and skill at DU in a LONG time. But it's no surprise to me or anyone who has watched all year that Drew is more likely to be in the Hobey discussion.

The Hobey Committee likes to balance the Top 10 candidates by region. Zucker and Shore were both second team all WCHA players, so it would stand to reason that they would not probably not make the top 5-6 players from the WCHA or CCHA when the two western leagues are pushed together in the Hobey Top 10, balanced by the top 4-5 eastern players.

It's a numbers game...

Lazarra wil play as 13th forward today with Philips out of the defensive rotation.

But Zucker is Captain America. Shouldn't that get him a bump?
