At the halfway point of the NCAA Skiing Championships DU remains in 7th place. With two days of competition left, Denver has 232.5 points. Vermont has the team lead after two days with 396 points. Utah (372), Colorado (359), Dartmouth (297), Alaska Anchorage (271) and host Montana State (264.5) placed ahead of DU.
Kinda sad, a lone Cheesehead trying to talk smack. I just can't summon the energy to respond in kind.
Go DU, take care of biz tonight. Sounds like we need to at least advance to the Final Five to get a bid. So hopefully the boyz will be on their game tonight.
The USCHO pundits are split on who is gonna win this weekend. Bucky is on a roll now and historically kick our butt at playoff time (12-1). I hope our boys are up for some playoff hockey this weekend...otherwise, they're gonna be playing golf after this weekend. Go DU!!!

If Wisconsin comes out and plays physical DU is done there is only a couple players who can play physical and we know who they are and its not the draft picks because they always play the outside game when we play physical teams as it showed against UND,Wisconsin and CC. As stated before if the games are physical the draft picks will be thinking of when they can leave for their NHL teams if they're not already.
You people all need to remember that DU has not been Swept all year. They have lost one, tied one but have not been completely swept! Have some faith in our boys and ignore the people who have nothing better to do then raid their opponents blogs...sounds like they need jobs or a hobby.

As for attendance figures...thats how many tickets are sold...not how many of you losers actually show up to the game. Games against UND were sold out and there were a ton empties. Pathetic. as for 10th place Wisconsin....they will show show up to watch their 10th place team. You won't show up to watch your 3rd place team.

There were about 200 Badger fans in the house tonight, and about 4,000 Pio fans. Maybe 300 students - not bad considering final exams are just days away.

Its been that way every year for over a decade since Magness Arena opened.
You realize that those numbers do not count asses in the seats.
You can be "sold out" and have your season ticket holders never attend a game, which apparently happens quite often at Magness.
