Lots of SEC & Big Ten experience. She'll be a rock star in the WAC.

Excellent hire, and hungry to be a a head coach. She has been part of NCAA championship programs, and that can't hurt when she is selling DU in the living room.

Well done, DU.

Another great hire for the athletic department. We may not have the flashiest AD but she gets quality coaches and stays out of the way!

Awesome.

Peg is the best AD in the history of the school. DU is the best non-football athletic dept in the country, bar none. At no time in DU history have we had more of our athletic programs nationally relevant:

Hockey - top 10
M Basketball - top 100
M Lacrosse - top 10
Mens Soccer - top 50
Women's Gymnastics - top 15
Skiing - Top 5
W basketball - top 100
W Lacrosse - top 20
W Soccer - top 75
MW Swimming - Top 100
W Golf - top 50
M Golf - top 100
M Tennis - top 75
W Tennis - top 100
W Volleyball - Top 200*

Add to that the 3.3 dept GPA, the 90% graduation rate and growing attendance in Lax and Hoops, a new conference affiliations for the WAC and NCHC, more school spirit and it's a pretty impressive performance.

The ultimate sign of respect for a college athletic program is when your coaches, assistant coaches and staffers move up to bigger jobs.

So couple the successes on the field, ice and courts with the promotions and you can see the "DU Formula" is working.

Apparently Cremeans has added Colorado-native Abby Waner as an assistant coach. Having a former national high school player of the year, Duke graduate, WNBA player and ESPN personality on staff seems like a boon for recruiting, especially in-state. Will be interesting to see the rest of the staff since Johnson took his three assistants with him to BC.
