That was neat. Most people don't realize what goes into putting on a hockey or basketball game
It was actually this post on your blog that gave me the idea on Thursday afternoon to do this. When I saw the schedule -- basketball Thursday night, hockey Friday night, basketball Saturday afternoon (and I knew they'd likely put it back to hockey after that) -- it occurred to me that this would be a great opportunity to do a time lapse, which I've thought of before (but had only ever conceived of as a one-night thing). I got in touch with Mike Kennedy at the SID's office and he said I could do it. It worked really well!
It costs DU almost $5,000 to convert from ice to hoops or around $500,000 per year.
