One thing that was no laughing matter, however, was a question from a St. Louis Post-Dispatch writer about that little run-in with the law that Jonathan Toews and T.J. Oshie had a couple of months back. University of North Dakota hockey coach Dave Hakstol's response was that players learn from all their experiences, good and bad. When a follow-up question came about whether Toews and Oshie had shown that, a stone-faced Hakstol replied, "I think I just answered your question."
