The NHL has released their first recruiting rankings for the 2009 draft. Four DU recruits are listed. This is the first time DU has ever had two recruits in the same class listed as "A Rating" players.
A Rating - A must see player who is predicted to be a potential First or Second Round Draft selection in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft
Drew Shore - F - USNDTP U-18
William Wrenn - D - USNDTP U-18
B Rating - A player to note if you are in the area, a potential selection in the Third to Fifth Round Draft Selection in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft
Paul Phillips - D - Cedar Rapids - USHL
Adam Murray - G - USNDTP U-18
C Rating - A player that Central Scouting is tracking, a potential late round selection in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft

Other Recruiting News
According to US Hockey Report (a subscription site) Denver is in the running for Anders Lee. Lee is the star quarterback on the Edina, Minnesota football team, has seen his stock for hockey rise this fall. Though he has the ability to play football in college, hockey is the route he will be taking. Harvard, Notre Dame, Princeton, Duluth, and North Dakota are also in the running .... DU recruit Matt Donovan has been selected for Team USA in the 2008 World Junior A Challenge in Camrose, Alberta. It will take place Nov. 2-9.

Lee is the top MN HS recruit rated by Heiseneberg that hasn't committed yet. Looks like he would be a nice catch by DU. I would assume he might have to spend a year in the USHL and come in in 2010
