That's bull shit that the DU guy gets suspended but Schack the Hack from the Gophers got nothing for the shit he pulled in Mankato.

christ, could the WCHA be more inept these days?!?

um...no.

DU is probably fighting this which explains why even by Wed. practice, Mullen doesn't know his fate.

When compared to all these other dangerous plays and egregious acts, Mullen is suddenly the first player suspended.

Yeah, seems a little unbalanced at times...some you win and some you lose...

DG it is more acceptable to jump your player from behind and throw punches while they are laying on the ice without a helmet than to hit them with a stick.

They're one in the same in that both acts have an intent to injure. I'm guessing the WCHA is catching on to Denver and that's why they have decided to take action. Keep letting this crap slide and pretty soon DU players will be sharpening the end of their sticks.

It is official that Mullen is suspended for the CC game. DU announced it on their website. http://www.denverpioneers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=18600&ATCLID=3668666

DU's task on Friday just got a lot tougher. Losing Mullen for this pivotal game is a kick in the teeth, although it sounds as though the suspension is warranted.
The Pios will have to find a way to fight through the adversity. The captains and other leaders on this team, whoever they are, need to step up.

We can do it. We did it without Gwoz and we've done it without major players before. Bring em to their knees!
