Spanky's Pep Rally Set to Go On Saturday Night

(above) LetsGoDU's 3rd Annual Poster Contest will have a $100 cash first prize

For the past month the management over at Spanky's Roadhouse and LetsGoDU have been working together to host a pregame Pep Rally on Saturday, October 23rd (4-6:30 PM) before the DU vs. Wisconsin hockey game.

The event will be held in Spanky's parking lot and will feature outdoor grilling and fun hockey related activities. Budweiser, Coors, LetsGoDU & Red Bull are the event's corporate sponsors. The event will also help raise money for the DU Pep Band.

The DU Pep Band will play at the event and Boone will be there to sign autographs and meet the kids.

Red Bull will be providing a tent to cover the parking lot and Coors and Budweiser will provide promotional support. Spanky's has obtained a special event permit from the City of Denver.

There will be a poster contest sponsored by LetsGoDU with a $100 cash first prize.

Keep reading LetsGoDU this week we'll keep you updated on the party. We hope to host other events at local restaurants throughout the season.

This looks like it will draw hundreds. Where will they all fit? that parking space is pretty small. Anyway I'll be there to have D.G. buy me a beer.

Lets hope it spills out into the streets.

We'll have a special LetsGoDU Slush Fund set up to buy beers for loyal readers.

Can someone here do a FaceBook Fan Page for Lets Go DU and/or a twitter? Most people check these types of social media sites daily, versus coming to a particular website of interest. Would be good to highlight events like this Spanky's one with the FB Event thing..... Jus' sayin'.........

Thanks for the suggestion.
