The hockey suits are sooo hypocritical. If by some stroke of luck Jesse's head had been up a little, down a little or off to the side, Malone would have been praised for his physical play. They teach a player to put the opponent into the second row, then punish him for it. It was a clean hit, just unfortunate.
Ya know normally when something like this happens... there is a lot of blame and hate placed. I'm not saying there has been none... but from what I've seen there has been so little of it.
I know we usually don't get along, but for both DU and UND this has been a classy turn out for Jesse Martin.
I am trying to find a video of the Malone hit on Martin which caused the bad injury. Does anyone have a link to it? On the ND web site, there's an article (recap of last week's game). The writer of the article states that Martin's head was down. Nowhere in the article does the writer wish Martin well. It was a very dry and cold account of the hit. Schmuck!

Every few hours there's another "Wow" moment. Latest from the Edmonton article..."The NHL Atlanta Thrashers have doctors involved in Martin's care."
