Jared Fiegel Commits To DU In 2014

Mike Chambers Blog announced that forward Jared Fiegel (6'0 178) of Parker, Colorado has made a verbal commitment to play at the University of Denver for the 2014-15 season. The 15-year-old plays for the Colorado Rampage (AAA) organization in Monument.

The Garrett Allen Saga looks like it may have taken another turn.

Allen had been sensational as a Rookie in Fargo of the USHL helping the Force win a championship. Last season saw his USHL production plummet and he was traded to the Chicago Steel. His play there wasn't much better and his scholarship offer to DU may have been put on hold.

Allen became a topic of discussion last April when Chuck Schwartz said he might decommit from DU and commit to Concordia-Moorhead, which is a Division 3 school in Minnesota.

Allen had been committed to Denver for more than a year and rumors of homesickness swirled around. He was considering changing his commitment and going to Concordia.

Then he signed a letter of intent with DU and deferred his enrollment to 2012.

Heisenberg's Recruiting Website still has Garrett Allen as a DU recruit but his team is "blank" so draw from that what you will.
