I can not wait! That first time in the arena for the season, the sights and the smells, the anticipation of what the season will hold...Oh yeah

Walked through the arena this week, caught some practice skating, anticipation is high. Can ... not ... wait.

There is no finer sight in all of sports, than walking into any empty hockey arena anywhere and seeing that fresh sheet of ice, ready and waiting. I guess baseball fans probably say the same about walking into a ballpark; but I'm biased I guess. Ugh.... brings tears to the eyes.. just awesome

Can anyone give me any info on Garrett Allen? Where is he playing this season? I know he has talent based on his rookie season in the USHL but want happend after that? Did he play this off season? Any insight would be appreciated!

has there been an announcement that Dusty Jackson is captain?

We've been searching for Garrett Allen as well. Was last seen on the roster of the Chicago Steel last season.

Not on any USHL rosters posted so far this season.

You won't find him. He's hanging out with Elvis.

It's highly unlikely that I am wrong, but I believe the reason Stasny & such wasn't at Magness on Thurs is because they were at the annual Joe Sakic Golf Tourney. Also, poking fun here - - what better way to show your tougness, after being laid out by an 8 year old... in one of those links, I saw pics of Coach Gwozdecky wearing his right arm sling gangsta' style, without the usual elbow and forearm wrap... way to go, George! Seriously, I hope he feels better. He's going to need that arm in Tampa to lift that National Championship trophy when his Captain, Dustin Jackson hands it to him!
